Climbing and zapping !!

Scroll down - all the way to the bottom - and see how many older kids have zero.

Do you see ??

ZERO !!!!!!!!!!!

Once again, we have zeroed the zeros.

Let's try and keep it that way.

If you see a newly listed child with ZERO on their grant - please - ZAP that zero as soon as humanly possible !!

Also - if you can - share these kids - donate what you can - let's get more of these kids up and over the $100 wall.

Let's get more kids up and into a new category - help a child into the category above the one they are currently in - help them climb the mountain - help them up, all the way up and over that $100 wall !!!

We CAN do this !!!

Over $50 for my 50th ??

OK folks, I'm asking for help !!

I'm asking for a HUGE favor !!

I'm asking for you to please bless one or more of the children listed below. I'd include all of their photos but that would, no doubt, cause your computer to explode, so please, click on any name to go to their profile on Reece's Rainbow !

Why am I asking this ?  Well - firstly, because I'm always asking - so why would today be any different ?

Fact is - it's my birthday this weekend (Sunday June 30th).

No big deal there, normally - we all, after all, have a birthday every year, don't we ?  All the children below have a birthday every year, too - but I doubt that many - if any - of them - get to celebrate their special day.

So what's special about MY birthday ?

Well - it's a big one !!

On Sunday, I turn FIFTY !!!

I can hardly believe it, myself. I don't FEEL 50 - but, then again, I'm not really sure what 50 is supposed to feel like !!

THIS is what I looked like at 49 1/2, when I shaved my head for Buddy

I haven't changed much, other than my hair has grown back :)

So, I guess you're wondering what I am asking of you ?

It's pretty clear when you scroll down and see the names of all of the children.

ALL these children are older children - aged 6 or over - listed on Reece's Rainbow as available for international adoption.

ALL of these children have a special need of one kind or another.

ALL of these children have LESS than $50 in their grants.

Their grants are there to help with the cost of adoption - SO many families would love to adopt, but just cannot afford the thousands upon thousands of dollars required to pay for an international adoption.

The bigger a child's grant, the greater chance they have of being adopted.

My goal is, as always, to help grow the grants of the older children.

Normally, my aim is to make sure that NO child has zero in their grants.

I also strive to get every child up to - and beyond - $100 in their grant.

THIS weekend, however - I'm focused on trying to get as many of the children below up to and over $50.

Yep - I'm turning 50 - and I want to see the kids get to $50.

Pretty simple, really ?

I thought so.

SO - which child do YOU want to bless this weekend ??

Please - don't feel that ANY amount is too small - just $5 would be a blessing to ANY of these children - they have so little to start with !

Please - do what you can ?

Help one of the children who already have almost $50 get up to $50 ?

Help zero a zero ?

Help a child take a baby step closer to $50 ?

ANYTHING is better than nothing.

No spare $$ ?

Then, please - share this blog - that's quick and easy !

I thank you on behalf of ALL 127 of the older kids below.
